To setup MiriStream, you must first select the VIDEO INPUT DEVICE (WEB CAM_ and AUDIO INPUT DEVICE that you have connected to your computer. If you have multuple devices, Miristream should detect all of them.

Your view may be slightly different from what is shown above. The top-left pane lists each of the VIDEO devices found on your computer, and the top-right detects the SOUND devices. Select the correct camera and microphone from each window. Webcams almost always have built-in microphones so be sure to select "built-in microphone" if you select your webcam.
After you have made your select, select the video size and target frame rate you wish to broadcast at. If you do not know what to select, please accept the default setting of 320 x 240 4:3 Target 15FPS. Advanced users can read more about this function in Advanced video settings.
Press the PRESS THE TEST BUTTON.

You should now see your original video on the left hand side (scaled down for space saving only), and a video on the right hand side. The video on the right is your video broadcast back to you from our servers. The video sizes and aspect ratios may be different depending on what you select. If your video appears distorted or 'squished' or if quality is unacceptable, you have probably selected the wrong video size / aspect ratio for your camera type. Click on END TEST and try a different setting.
Try focusing the camera on yourself, and moving around. You will notice that the 2 video screens are slightly out of sync by about half a second or so. This is normal.
Test your microphone As you speak, you should hear yourself, slightly delayed. If you do not hear any sound, your microphone may not be turned on, or you have selected the wrong audio input device. Click on END TEST and try a different setting.
If your video and audio are working, you are now ready to chat! Click on END TEST and then click the LOG IN button to begin! If you do not have your username and password please Contact technical support.
