PHP website repair for the site your business depends on.

Errors after an upgrade, a database that keeps failing, or an integration that stopped working? 2MUCH.NET investigates the running system, agrees a repair scope and checks the result in production.

A website failure rarely arrives at a convenient time. The previous programmer may be unavailable. The error may appear only when someone pays, logs in or runs a report. You might have a backup and still be unsure what would happen if you restored it.

We work on existing PHP applications, MySQL and MariaDB databases, Linux hosting and the outside services they depend on. Tell us what should happen and what actually happens. You do not need to identify the technical cause before contacting us.

PHP and database problems we investigate

Server errors, blank pages and failures after an upgrade

A PHP version change can expose an old dependency, removed function or incompatible extension. A deployment can also change file permissions, configuration paths or session storage. We examine the error and the environment that produced it, then identify which code or setting needs attention.

The agreed work might be a compatibility correction, a dependency update or a deployment repair. We check the PHP version actually serving the website; passing a command-line check on a different runtime is insufficient evidence that the page will work for a visitor.

MySQL and MariaDB errors

Connection failures, slow queries, missing fields and unexpected results need different investigations. We examine the relevant query, schema, data conditions and application behaviour before recommending a change.

Where a repair affects stored data, the plan needs a recoverable starting point and a way to check the result. Existing records, active transactions and scheduled jobs all matter. A database change is scoped around those dependencies.

Broken forms, payment integrations and API connections

A form can display a success message while failing to save the request. An API can return an accepted response while a later delivery fails. A payment callback can arrive more than once, or in an order the original code did not expect.

We trace the path through the application and the provider interface, check what was actually recorded, and repair the affected handling. Payment and messaging checks use appropriate test facilities or intercepted requests; verification is agreed before anything that could charge a customer or send a message.

Inherited applications and migration problems

We can review applications with limited documentation and work with your existing hosting team. The first job is understanding the relevant code, configuration and operational dependencies. This includes background jobs, uploads, sessions, databases, URL routing and external services.

If a migration is involved, we define what must be preserved and how it will be checked after the move. If the immediate need is a repair, that work can be scoped separately from longer-term modernisation.

How a repair engagement works

  1. Describe the failure. Send the affected page, what you expected, what happened instead, and roughly when it started. Mention any recent upgrade, deployment or hosting change.
  2. Establish the evidence. We inspect the relevant application behaviour, logs and configuration using agreed access. An intermittent fault may require a bounded investigation before a repair can be estimated.
  3. Agree the work. You receive a proposed scope, dependencies and cost before implementation. We identify whether the fix needs a maintenance window, a backup or coordination with another provider.
  4. Implement and verify. We check the affected behaviour in the appropriate environment, then verify the deployed result against the original problem.
  5. Leave a usable record. The handover explains the change, the checks performed and any remaining limitations or follow-up work.

If the website is down now: call or use the contact form and describe the business impact. We confirm availability and scope before starting. Do not put passwords or payment information in the initial message.

Experience grounded in our own production software

2MUCH.NET was founded in 1998. Our engineering work includes Miricam’s live-video, billing and platform operations and AutoSEO’s search reporting and analytics workflows.

Those products bring together the same classes of dependency that make repair work difficult: application code, databases, scheduled tasks and external APIs. Their public product pages describe the systems; they are not a promise of a particular result for an uninspected website.

For broader development, automation and infrastructure work, see our programming and technical services. For visitor verification flows, see our age-verification integration service.

Questions before we begin

Can you repair a website built by someone else?

Yes, subject to reviewing the application and the access available. Tell us which hosting platform and technologies you know about. If you are unsure, we can establish that during discovery.

Will you need access to the live server?

Some diagnosis can start from an error report, source code or a staging copy. Other faults depend on the live environment. We agree the access required and the release arrangements before making changes.

How much will the repair cost?

That depends on the fault and how much investigation it needs. We can discuss a defined diagnostic scope when the cause is uncertain, then estimate the repair from the evidence. There is no reliable fixed price for every PHP or database failure.

Can you maintain the application afterwards?

Ongoing programming and support can be agreed separately. A repair can also end with a handover to your team. Tell us who will be responsible for releases and operations so the work fits your arrangements.

Tell us what stopped working.

A short description and the affected URL are enough to start the conversation.
